A sampling of some of the cases handled by the trial practice group: a) a suit brought against a client’s former attorney for legal malpractice settled for $150,000; b) a suit brought against a national homebuilder for construction defects settled for corrective work by the homebuilder costing more than $200,000; c) a suit brought against a company president by the minority shareholders for breach of fiduciary duty and self-dealing resulting in a $1.9 million payment to our clients; d) a suit against an aviation repair facility for wrongful death resulting in a $1.485 million settlement; and e) a suit brought on behalf of a father against an auto parts store driver for the wrongful death of his 17-month old son settled for $300,000.
